"Crafting extraordinary river journeys through Southeast Asia's most captivating landscapes since 1993."

Vietnam to Cambodia

7–8 Days · Two Countries · One River

Saigon to Angkor.
The Long Way.

A week on the Mekong from the delta to the temples. Through border crossings, floating villages, and a silence at Angkor Wat that you'll carry home.

You Cross a Border on Day 3.
By Day 6, You've Crossed Several Others.

This trip starts in the chaos of Saigon and ends at Angkor Wat before dawn, and in between you'll cross the Mekong border by limousine, eat on a rooftop overlooking the Tonlé Sap, visit a church on the river that most Cambodians don't know exists, and stand in an Angkor corridor at 5am with nobody else in sight. It's eight days. It covers two countries, three cities, and a few thousand years of history. But the moments that stay with you will be smaller than that — a monk's blessing, a meal cooked by someone's grandmother, a sunset you didn't plan for.

One of the most celebrated Mekong River Cruise itineraries available — spanning Vietnam and Cambodia in a single, seamless journey.

The Monk's Blessing

The Monk's Blessing

He's ninety-two. He's been at this temple since he was fourteen. He ties a thread around your wrist and says something in Khmer that your guide translates later, in the van, quietly.

Dinner with Nobody Else

Dinner with Nobody Else

A table on a rooftop in Phnom Penh. The Mekong below. Candlelight. No music except the city. The waiter brings dishes you didn't order because the chef decided you should try them.

Angkor Before the Crowds

Angkor Before the Crowds

4:45am. The towers are black against an orange sky. There are maybe twenty people in the entire complex. Your guide knows a corridor where the light hits a carved apsara at exactly 5:30. You'll be the only ones there.
